Our Process
P.L. Lyons Architectural Builders has a proprietary process we use with every client. It has been proven to provide the most transparent and efficient home-building experience for you. When building a custom home or working on a remodel, each project is completely different. Since we are not a large-volume home builder and don’t typically build stock plans, the details are essential and coincide with the 4 steps below.
Step 1: Design
We work hand-in-hand with our design team, who collaborates with clients to design and create custom house plans. Whether you have existing plans that need to be modified or are working from scratch, we can bring your thoughts and ideas to life as a design-build firm better than other building companies.

Step 2: Pre-construction
Our advanced estimating system allows us to pinpoint costs and show customers how changes before and during the construction process can alter the price in a good or bad way. Each client typically gets a contract, a set of specifications, and a cost analysis.

Step 3: Construction
One of our partners is actively there on site during this step of the process. We prioritize clear and concise communication with our clients so they can feel comfortable and involved in the process.
