First up, you may have missed our Homearama recap post a few weeks back. We sold both homes in this year’s event. We didn’t win the grand prize, which was announced last Friday, but the event was still a huge success. Congrats to all the winners, by the way! In this blog post we wanted to take a minute to update you on some upcoming events from the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville, formerly know as the HBAL.
Starting this weekend, sorry for the late notice, the Tour of Remodeled Homes is happening. This is an annual event that showcases remodeled homes in Greater Louisville. We participated in the event a few years back with a kitchen remodel we did over in Anchorage. If you attended Homearama and want to get even more good ideas for your next custom home or remodel, then this event is for you. Yes we know there is another event happening in Louisville this weekend. Something to do with golf. In between attending the PGA Championship, or volunteering there, please take some time and stop by a few of the 11 houses on this year’s Tour of Remodeled Homes.
Another really fun annual BIA event is the golf outing every September at Quail Chase Golf Club. This is a great time when BIA members, associate members, sponsors and participants from the local community come together for a day of fun. PL Lyons almost always sponsors a team to support the BIA and to have some fun. If you have interest in the event, all the registration info can be found here.
If you really want to plan ahead, mark your calendar for the Home and Design show at the Ramada Plaza just off Hurstbourne Lane. That show takes place on October 19-20, 2014.
