The Kentucky Reserve House is a new build by P.L. Lyons on a larger parcel of property in Kentucky, designed through a highly collaborative process that started with the homeowners’ original concept and target budget. As the plans evolved to better fit their needs, the scope grew slightly—something they anticipated—and the budget was adjusted accordingly. After about two months of back-and-forth to finalize the layout, P.L. Lyons moved into interior selections (cabinetry, flooring, appliances, and finishes) before construction began to keep the build efficient and intentional. The result is a timeless, transitional home that blends traditional French Country character with modern farmhouse touches, plus a showcase-ready pool added as a display feature after the clients agreed to participate in Homearama.
