The views were of utmost importance to them, so we drew up a plan that allowed sight both out the front and back at the same time from a central living and dining space. This was accomplished with twelve foot ceilings that vaulted twenty feet in the center and with dormers running down the entire front and back of the house. The porches enhanced the front and back for relaxing and enjoying sunrises and sunsets. The homeowners requested a Craftsman style home. To accomplish the look, we designed large overhangs with exposed rafter tails and brackets in the Craftsman style.
