Homearama is coming up soon from July 14th- July 29th. We are very excited about this year’s event, and we hope you are too! It’s going to be a special year, although we feel this way every year and we’re a little biased about our own featured home. But we aren’t exaggerating when we say our home we’ll have on display this year is one of the most unique designs we’ve ever done. You don’t want to miss out on seeing it. So as you are marking your calendars at this very moment, also take a glance at what we’ve written below. It’s everything you need to know for Homearama 2018.
How Do I Get To Homearama 2018?
This year’s Homearama is located in Catalpa Farms at Shakes Creek Drive Fisherville, Kentucky 40023. Travel east of the Gene Snyder Freeway on Shelbyville Road, headed toward Eastwood. As you enter Eastwood, keep right by the Eastwood Fire Station and continue onto to Eastwood Ext. Road. Turn right onto Eastwood-Fisherville Road and travel approximately 1.8 miles. Shakes Run will be on your left. Turn onto to Shakes Creek Road and go follow it 1.5 miles, you will then enter into the Catalpa Farms development. Follow signs to the on site event parking.
This subdivision features nice lots in secluded villages arranged along ridges, each with a unique architectural theme. Catalpa Farms is known for its access trails, lakes, and community gardens. Coming soon it will also have a community center, clubhouse, pool, dog park, trails, playground, and even a Frisbee golf course.
Whether you come to the event July 14th or the July 29th, any day in between, or on multiple dates, here are the daily hours for the event:
Monday – Friday | 5pm – 9:30pm
Saturday | 10am – 9pm
Sunday | 1pm – 6pm
How do I Get Tickets For Homearama 2018?
Tickets are sold onsite only and they are $10 per person. And they take cash or check. But if you aren’t following us on Facebook, you should start. Because starting the first week in July, we’ll be giving away a pair of free tickets DAILY up until the first official day of Homearama. You could be one of our winners! But also note that children 12 and under can enter for free with an adult.
Who’s the Developer of the Community that Hosts Homearama?
Signature Green is the developer of Catalpa Farms, which was formed in 2013. Mike Jones (the Real Estate Developer) has produced a partnership and team approach to the development at Signature Green Properties. Mike majored in Landscape Architecture at Kentucky university and has applied his love of the land to careers in landscape contracting, tree farming, property management, construction, land development and marketing for over 18 years. We are happy to have his contribution to Homearama 2018.
What Kind of Homes Will Be Featured?
There will be seven breathtaking houses featured at this year’s Homearama. We will personally be showcasing House number 3 which is in the picture below. We are just adding the finish touches now, that’s why we aren’t sharing our final, official, bright, and shiny photo of the house. It is very exquisitely designed, with the help of the new owner of this home who happens to be a designer. Come see all 7 homes in July! But don’t miss our Story Guide we’ve created just for House #3 that shares all the behind the scene details of our unique home.
