A lot of exciting things are happening in preparation for Homearama 2016. Construction has begun in River Crest, and the first Homearama 2016 home is already for sale!
This year Homearama 2016 will feature homes at two different sites: River Crest and Norton Commons. The Building Industry Association is working on a ticket option for people who want to tour both sites on different days.
Norton Commons Breaks Homearama Record
Norton Commons is a beautiful community of around 1,000 homes located in northeastern Jefferson County with multiple neighborhood businesses that make it unique. The site will break a Homearama record this year, featuring 27 homes, which is the most homes built at a single site in Homearama history!
River Crest Lots Focus on Preserving Nature
River Crest, a site chosen for its beauty, will focus on preserving as much nature as possible and the Homearama homes in the Central Park area will be part of 19 homes that circle a park with paved trails, trees, benches and a dog run, giving these homes a beautiful view! Homes in this section will sell between the mid $400,000s and upper $500,000s. Eventually, the developers plan to add a splash park, swimming pool and clubhouse to the park. Another section behind Central Park where Homearama houses will be built is The Bluffs Estates, located next to the Salt River. It will have a park as well, with walking trails, a picnic area, a soccer field and a canoe launch. A third section called Washington Commons will feature homes with lots in the $50,000 to $60,000 range. Nine homes total are scheduled to be built at River Crest with the option to add three more, and construction on all nine homes will begin soon.
