A Recap of the Home and Garden Show and A Look Ahead to Homearama

Despite the pesky snow that accumulated over Greater Louisville, The Home, Garden & Remodeling Show that took place on February 27 – March 1 at the Kentucky Expo Center was a big success. That’s really no surprise since the show is in its 66th year and always draws a big crowd. In fact, it’s the largest home show in the state of Kentucky and one of the largest in the country, with more than 350 vendors participating each year. From landscaping to building materials to the latest and greatest in interior design, the Home Show pretty much has it all.

PL Lyons and Architectural Builders, a PL Lyons Company, had a great time at the Home Show this past weekend. We (Perry Lyons, Ben Robbins and Adam Gallagher) all pitched in to work shifts at the Homearama Spring Lake Farm booth at the Home Show. Traditionally, the team at Architectural Bulders, a P.L. Lyons Company, man their custom building and remodeling booth, but with all the work going on with their Homearama homes this year, the guys only had time to lend a hand.

Speaking of Homearama, there’s already a lot of buzz about the 2015 show, even though the event doesn’t open for another four months. Right now, 11 homes are currently under construction. Some are already sold and some are still available for purchase. If you’ve been thinking about buying your forever home, now may be the time.

Architectural Builders, a PL Lyons Company, has four homes in Homearama this year. Two of these homes are under contract and the other two are available for sale. Contact us today to inquire about our available homes. We will be publishing more information about Homearama along with the progress of our homes in the coming weeks, so be on the lookout for that. Enjoy some photos below of some 2015 Homearama construction in progress.
