At the end of last month we wrapped up Homearama 2016. The show was very successful and a huge thank you goes out to all of you who came out to show support or helped volunteering! We loved having you there to celebrate as we showed off all of our hard work. Since both of our houses sold early this year, we were able to relax a little bit and enjoy the show. It was a great turnout, and we enjoyed meeting all of you.
The furniture sale was a huge success, and we wrapped everything up a few Fridays back with the Homearama 2016 awards ceremony luncheon at the Olmstead. If you haven’t gotten a chance to download the paint colors for our houses, you can download them here!
If you participated in one of the two contests at our homes, we have selected the winners and initial contacts have been made!
From your feedback on our homes, we learned that the two most popular features this year were:
Our ranch layouts
Our reclaimed hardwood floors
Homearama 2017 will be at Poplar Woods in Oldham County!
Poplar Woods is a community in Goshen, Ky located in the Oldham County school district, which is a huge selling point for many prospective home buyers. Homes will be starting in the $600,000 range.
We wanted to be the first to bring you news and info. about Poplar Woods so we got together with Mike Jones with Signature Green and talked about all the great reasons why you should build your dream home as a part of next year’s show!
Fill out the form on our Homearama 2017 page to sign up to be the first to receive information on Homearama 2017 news!
I’m bored with the Homeramas always being in the east end of Jefferson County. Jefferson County has many wonderful areas to build new homes. Lower price ranges that would be more affordable for more people. I have always loved going to Homerama. I would love to able to buy one someday.
Thanks for your comments! And thanks for reading. We’ll pass along the feedback to the BIA.
There was a location in Mount Washington last year, but that wasn’t in Jefferson county obviously.
